I love dogs and cats. I have had both most of the time. But usually my cats are more territorial and aggressive than the dogs. They are both part of the family.

My first dog was killing machine of cats and other animals as we lived near the nature, sometimes he arrived home badly hurt by fights with other animals but he was more kind of wolf than a dog. I learned a lot with both, observing their nature and reactions.

Not all are 100% true....

SO YOU THINK YOU KNOW EVERYTHING?
A dragonfly has a life span of 24 hours.
Most dragonflies don't die of old age but are caught by predators. Even if they do survive, they still don't live much longer than a few months.

A goldfish has a memory span of three seconds.
Mythbusters proved that wrong as the goldfish could remember a maze a couple days later.

Babies are born without kneecaps. They don't appear until the child reaches 2 to 6 years of age.
Although it doesn't show up on X-rays (http://science.howstuffworks.com/x-ray.htm), your baby does in fact have kneecaps. They're just not bony kneecaps. At birth, these kneecaps are still cartilage, and remain so for a few years. So all those spills and falls your toddler is taking aren't going to be knee-breakers, just sponge-compressors. By the time your child is anywhere from 3 to 5 years old, those cartilage plates will have fully ossified into big-kid kneecaps, made of real bone. And every year after that, as that bone loses its bounce, those thrills and spills will get progressively less fun until those grown-up babies are creaking and groaning with the rest of us.

Our eyes are always the same size from birth, but our nose and ears never stop growing.
Not true. Human eyes grow in size from birth until to the age of around 15 to 16. The average size of a newborn's eyeball is around 18 millimetres and that of an adult should be 24 to 25 millimetres.

The average person's left hand does 56% of the typing.
True. It was done because early manual typewriters would get jammed easily so making the left hand which is not normally used do the work slowed it down enough that it wouldn't.

Now you really know everything. ;-)

There was an elderly couple who in their old age noticed that they were getting a lot more forgetful, so they decided to go to the doctor. The doctor told them that they should start writing things down so they don't forget. They went home and the old lady told her husband to get her a bowl of ice cream. "You might want to write it down," she said. The husband said, "No, I can remember that you want a bowl of ice cream." She then told her husband she wanted a bowl of ice cream with whipped cream. "Write it down," she told him, and again he said, "No, no, I can remember: you want a bowl of ice cream with whipped cream." Then the old lady said she wants a bowl of ice cream with whipped cream and a cherry on top. "Write it down," she told her husband and again he said, "No, I got it. You want a bowl of ice cream with whipped cream and a cherry on top." So he goes to get the ice cream and spends an unusually long time in the kitchen, over 30 minutes. He comes out to his wife and hands her a plate of eggs and bacon. The old wife stares at the plate for a moment, then looks at her husband and asks, "Where's the toast?"
