Old joke - Just because your paranoid doesn't mean "They" are not after you.

Some info I came across today that might interest you. These excerpts come from XeroSerf. (http://xerosurf.com)

...Google Chrome Browser - Google Chrome users are tracked across the internet by a personally identifying unique machine ID created during the browsers installation.

...EverCookies - EverCookies are the most privacy invasive cookies in use by major websites and naturally very difficult to delete. By abusing Adobe Flash LSO and Microsoft's Silverlight technology to store your personal details which cannot easily be removed. Even worse the Evercookie may be reinstated by 3rd party sites if it has been removed.

No need to be paranoid. Know what they know.

Hahaha! :D Just think what Joker's readout of IP addresses must look like to Google: FOOD...beverages....PRON....more PRON...another Beverage site....call girlz shows....another beverage....more PRON....then checking for late night eats - delivery only due to an abundance of beverages....more beverages... :D ;) :P

The funny thing is, the adds on this forum are from Doubleclick which puts spyware cookies on your computer. If you want your computer to be usable at all, you're going to have spyware on it. Give up now. You will be assimilated. There is no privacy on the net.

That's only if you LET them. If you block the ads then no spyware. This is why I like Firefox. Mozilla does not put spyware in their apps and has a framework (Add-Ons) for improving privacy via the work of 3rd parites. It is true that nothing is 100% effective mainly because privacy and security were not big concerns with the experiment that never ended (a.k.a. The Internet). In fact the original TCP/IP protocol stack is a fairly lousy setup both in terms of privacy/security and efficiency. Compare TCP/IP to say, Netware. Utterly atrocious by comparison. But TCP/IP was free and Novell wanted a King's ransom so there you have it.
