Getting the drivers installed and the card to be recognized by boinc was a small miracle. #:-s

Now, if the need may arise, I have the experience for a twins GPU swap.
Just make sure DrPop gets you onboard with the CPU and RAM swap as well. :)
He did tell you, right?

Affirmative.
I'm glad my first attempt at a Gentoo ATI cruncher wasn't from 2000 miles away. I don't think there's any way that would have been a success. There were many reboots required when I did something that locked up the system (which included the network connection as well as the keyboard). Now I know what to do and more specifically what NOT to do.

I was going to congratulate you, but I get a "unable to handle request" error with that link. Do you have another so we can see? :o

No. Suddenly all valids are invisible. Here's a link to the computer stats though.

Just ordered a 6-pin to 2x6-pin splitter. I may be able to shoe-horn the other 4870 into the Dell.
Congrats. I still can't get my 4870 to work with mw. I just get elapsed time error. Had to reinstall a gts 450 to try to get a few double credits in my xp rig.

I run Linux, so that could be the difference.
