On number 5, I can't recall where I read it but it was in the last couple of weeks but IIRC the article said that AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint weren't even going to give the new Samsung phone even a consideration; that they were being forced out of the market since other companies like HTC were coming out with new phones that out preformed anything Samsung had at the moment. Wonder if this is part of their strategy to remain in the market.
