FreeHal Down

I guess there's a server issue.. my boinc is telling me there's something wrong with a server log file, and a few people on the freehal forums are having the same issue. If anyone's Freehal is acting up (can't upload or report finished work, or can't get new work) should post on the forums. I don't think the sysop of FreeHal realizes there is an issue yet

No one else is having FreeHal issues? I have 8 WUs ready to report.. I'd like to not have to abort them.. but on the FH forums people have attached and detached FH, and it's not fixing it.

This is normal for FH. It will run fine for a week, and then is does not take finished WU's for 18 hours.

Unfortunately for the BOINC community that sysop just graduated high school. Teens usually lead very busy lives. By now he has probably already started University. Anyhow, you must understand the attention span of a teenager :)

Anybody having this problem, I got a message from the server when I tried to upload 2 complete WU's saying to detach then re-attach. When I tried to re-attach it's saying I have no account even though I have it running on 2 other computers. :confused:

I have not seen this yet. I'm a few hrs from needing to ul. I'll post if it happens then.

I would hazard to guess that FreeHal's database is FUBAR. Looks like others (those that can log in) on the FH forum also have complaints.

Edit: OK, the FH forum seems to use a different DB as I was able to login there so I posted the problem we are having.

I can't get to the web site and I can only get to fetching download scheduler on boinc. My antivirus tell me that the web site is infected with a virus. I am using the shield deluxe 2011 with all of the updates. I have a feeling he is having problems again. I will keep trying to get wu's.

Looks like the admin reset the project to a previous time. Lost 2k according to free-dc. No big deal. Just FYI.

I had to disconnect from the Project since I was having a lot of OS problems with it.

I didn't lose any credits this time. Then again, I left the project a long time ago when they did the same thing (but lost a lot more).

OK, I was going to say that maybe you have a virus on that machine but have already mentioned that in the other thread. Hope you can find a solution, at least one that doesn't require reinstalling the OS.
