Looks like Intel's new integrated GPU in Ivy Bridge CPUs (due 1/2 way into 2012) will have native support for OpenCL 1.1 - so moving forward after 2012 if the world is still around :)):D ;) nearly all computers should be able to crunch both CPU and GPU projects out of the box.

This can only be a good thing - as Intel's integrated GPUs improve, NVIDIA and AMD will have to make their GPU cards just that much faster for us to be compelled to buy!
Not that the performance will he anything like a dedicated GPU, of course...but I'm just thinking of all the "free" credit increase the average Joe Cruncher will get when he/she learns they can crunch WUs on their integrated GPU. :)
