additional work buffer... not working?

Is this feature only available for certain projects? I can get a ton of seti wu's but since dirt came back up and i want to see what kind of numbers i can get i adjusted it. No matter what i set it to i get no additional work for any project. If it does work, any ideas on what I'm doing wrong or should look at?

On the GPU tasks DirT will give a maximum of 200 cached wu per machine. I don't know what they allow for CPU tasks but until a couple of days ago they didn't have any CPU work available.

If you have a bunch of Seti wu loaded up, the BOINC scheduler may not allow you to download more CPU tasks since it figures you won't be able to finish them in time. Try suspending Seti and give it 10 or 15 minutes and see if it will download some work.

I have had this for quite some time. I tried changing the work buffer from1 days to 4 days but nothing seemed to change after updating a few projects.
