I bet if you switch over to DiRT and you can get a second one in a lot less time! Or, switch your CPUs and GPUs over to POEM. They do good work and are paying pretty well on their OpenCL apps (which require as much or more CPU power as GPU power so I'd still count it as a CPU app).

By itself that's not too big a deal since at least 54 people have done so before but it took 6.5 years to reach this and that included sitting online at 2AM last night trying to grab all work units I could from one of their sporatic releases because I've been sitting in the 490K range for a long time sure the project was going to stop even dribbling out WU's and leave me short of the 500K mark. It's Miller time!<:-P

Battled with Lattice too and their grindingly long WU's. Finally reached 1 million there just a few months back. Lattice is another project we're just on the verge of pushing over the 5 million credit mark for the team. They only release work randomly and it disappears fast.

I may just run them at night when its cooler. For the most part they will be off as the heat output causes me to run the AC too much. It's a good thing I'm not a Top Gunner or the anxiety of not crunching 100% would drive me crazy. As an MM'r who has no chance at being at the top, I have more patience. :)

It uses CreditNew. How does that matter? With one of my two 24 core servers, I would earn less than 5K/day on fightmalaria@home. The same machine on DiRT can earn 75K/day (yes, that is CPU only). So, for 15 times credit, I'll stick with DiRT and let all the MM groupies battle it out for top position in fightmalaria@home. You see, as a Top Gun groupie, I NEED that extra 300K/day my farm will earn on DiRT compared to fm@h. ;)

I feel your pain. Have only had the air off for 2 days in the last month. I can take heat, but the overnight temps won't let me sleep. My wife doesn't show me the electric bill, but it's has to be up between 4-5 hundred. And to think, I just bought a box from Emsti with dual GTX 570's in it. The electric company loves me. Who can install solar for me cheap?:rolleyes::))
