So, the lady has a little netbook running Win7 and keeps running into memory issues. The only thing she has running during this stuff is Chrome.

Do y'all know of a lightweight browser that doesn't use a lot of RAM? FF and Chrome are both memory hogs and those are the ones I use. I'll punch her in the face if she uses IE. Or are all browsers super RAM heavy?

Safari?

Seriously though, just upgrade the RAM. It is dirt cheap. You could probably do it for less than $25 including shipping.

Well, I got these suggestions:

Maxthon - a version of IE

Opera:

Try Pale Moon or Opera, that would be my thought. Then, yeah - upgrade the RAM, seriously! What kind does it take?

The way the netbook is put together, I can't actually get to the RAM. So upgrading isn't really an option. I'll have to check out those browsers... thanks for the ideas, y'all!
