Already added, should see them within 30 mins or so.....

MM's only run once per day though, I can of course run them manually..

Did you, by chance, join the team?

They are saying you can get about 500k a day on a 5870. :cool:

D'oh! See, this is what happens when they disable account creation from the web site. I had to join via BOINCmgr, and it threw me off my routine of setting up my account. Crap. We would be up by another 1M.

Nope.

System requirements

Minimum requirements

* GPU: AMD/ATI GPUs or Nvidia GPUs
* CPU: any
* RAM: 1GB (2GB for Vista, W7, Ubuntu)
* HDD: 10GB free space, no more than 80% used (very important under windows)

Supported OS

* Linux 64-bit
* Windows Vista/7 32/64-bit (not XP)

We recommend non-overclocked cards and up-to-date drivers.

I'll get back on it tomorrow, running the Double Credit WU's @ MWay right now & still fighting with the 2 7970's I have. Think I have the problem figured out as I have them both running @ 1220 Core @ 1.220v but in different Box's. Have to slap a different Motherboard in one box or switch them into a another Box I have in order to run them together.

Well it doesn`t function. Error in all tasks. I deactive all protections nad nothing. But now I know because F$ had posted it my OS is Windows XP 64. Can`t do that project.

How long does a task usually take? It doesn't show any progress on the status column. I think I aborted the first one after it ran for 1.5 hours without showing any progress.

It also shows GPU usage at 0%. Suspending for now.

I can get this to run on one of my win7x64 boxes running 6.12.34 with two 5870's but can not get it to run in my box with the 5970 and 5870. If it runs more than 10 mins. and does not progress suspend it. Try looking at afterburner and see if it is using the gpu. You'll know it's working if there is a load on the gpu.

Get this...if I start from a clean re-boot they do the same thing. If I start mw on the Gpu, then suspend mw, the Donate start. Weird, sort of like priming the pump. :confused: but they work after that. Something is not right but I was too tired to figure it out last night.

I couldn't get my 5870 & 7970 to run together either, The BOINC Client seen both Cards but said "Not in use" for the 5870 Card, finally put both 7970's in 1 Box & the 5870 in another like I had them earlier & will run them that way ...

I see progression in the first 30 Seconds with my 7970's & within the first minute with my 5870, if I happen to be watching and don't see no progression on either box within 30-45 seconds the Wu's aren't going to run & something is wrong ...

My 7970's run them in about 13.5 Min's and may dip below 13 Min's on a few of them. The 5870 in about 16.5 Min's, not much OC on that Card cause is old now & won't take much of an OC but runs great at about stock speed yet. Actually sold that Card & shipped it out but the guy said it wouldn't run for him, I refunded his money after he shipped it back & slapped it in a Box & it's been running for me since then. Actually was running it when I sold it to the Guy, don't know what his problem was ...

Some things that I have noticed with my GTX 460 is that Afterburner shows ZERO GPU usage but the tasks are completing and being validated and the app is using 0.94 CPUs to do the work. Me thinks the CPU is doing the actual work and just using the GPU as a portal or gateway to the CPU.

FYI, you can set BOINCTasks to automatically suspend a task, from a particular project, if it runs more than X minutes. So if the tasks for donate normally run 15 minutes, you could set to automatically suspend any task that runs more than (say) 20 minutes.

This is exactly the setup I have when I'm running Donate. And Moo, for that matter... +11!

But with only 2 Wu's Per GPU Core from the donate Project the Project won't Download any more work as long as the Wu is Suspended or am I wrong about that ??? I know I can't get any more work from any Project as long as Wu's from that Project are Suspended ...

I believe you are correct. But as long as you also have a backup project set up, at least you won't be losing/wasting crunching time.

Well I got something set up, probably isn't right but what the heck, I'll find out if any run over 20 Mi's ... :rolleyes: ... Thanks

EDIT: Well that doesn't work very well for me anyway, I set the MWay Project to 0 Resource share, the donate Project was at 100 already. When I set 1 Box to accept work from MWay the project started to send me work. If it worked right the MWay Project shouldn't send me work unless I run out of donate work, that's the way it's supposed to work anyway ...

This is correct. Resource 0 does not work in 7.x. So if you are using it, you need to set your backup to the smallest number possible, and your main project to the largest number possible.
