LAF hit 50 million credits in 1 day 11/20

Anyone know how LAF "suddenly" got 20 million on Malaria Control yesterday? At least according to Free-DC:

Also seems points per day at Malaria jumped the last two days, dramatically.

It´s a flaw in their credit system...


I went and tried a few...Normally Malaria is a low paying project, which is why I newer did more than 10-13.000 over there....Now with the 6.49 app it pays much better...Even better than QMC and PG. I am seeing 200-300CS pr hour....:cool:

I'm hoping they don't do a very good job of adjusting everyone's credit. They can skip mine and I wouldn't mind. Maybe they'll only adjust the obvious ones. :-bd

THIS IS INSANE!!!

I got one 4xxx sec WU validated for over 22.000 CS!!!

Yesterday I had 13.000CS ......Now I am pushing for 100.000!!!

They updated the app twice over the last 24 hours. From 6.49 to 6.51....And the credits are back to CRAP!!

1.25 Cs for a ½ hour WU.....Not with my help!!!

Not so far.

I have one big payout WU...It´s still there. I think the "accepted" the flaw, and adjusted credits with the new app.

I had a sizable cache of the 6.49 app tasks and still crunching them. I have the project set to nonework and aborted all 6.51 tasks. I got 50K on one 6.49 task yesterday. I hope they're too lazy to adjust the credits, like QMC when they screwed up.

Anybody get a mega-payout with the Branch B 6.46 app or should I abort those, too?

That was a quick shift in power. LA'F is now #1 with SG #2 and we are in 3rd. Maybe I should award 50M credits to all teams but LA'F in Collatz to make up for it. :D

That works for me. Maybe you could adjust your app in the next update so that it awards NEGATIVE credits to the Frenchies? Temporarily of course....... or not.

Besides the boost LAF gets from Malaria, LAF&SG seem to get a boost in DNETC and also a good pop from PrimeGrid over their normal RAC. We need to somehow make an effort on how to trigger new members....I see lnew members on the team, crunching on CPU only....I noticed one guy the other day with Nvidia GTX 495 doing only CPU...He could be pushing 100K with that card...!

You are correct, and that huge factor against us is part of the reason we're helping out TM at WCG - so they can pull off for 3 days and help us at PG. I don't think we have much CUDA power on our team. Don't often need it, but this time...

True. It just happens to be that Ati offers the best credit/performance/powerusage now a days - which is why most people buy it.

So yes. We could definately do some good with more CUDA cards. Much I am not telling anyone what to buy...We have enough "trouble" just getting the masses to LEARN gpu crunching....The cards are out there alrigth....:"we just need people to get the idea"

Are their ATI's being pulled off of other lower paying projects and moved to PG?
The conspiracy theorist in me :) smells a setup over there at PG with SG. Sucking in LAF and Sic. for the last round will screw with the year's challenge pattern in the critical last round. We already have to deal with Puzzle and Shanky influence.
