I not sure whats going on with my computer so figure its time to ask for help...

during the primaboinc bunkering i had my I7 2600k crash on me... I did notice during the bunkering all those wu stayed in memory which is fine since i have 16gig of it. At first i was thinking maybe to much on overclock since some projects seem to be more picky so i downclocked one bin from 43 to 42 which seemed to be fine during the challenge but it crashed again several days later.. So i changed it to 41 but now its crashing almost every nite, FYI i did not touch the voltage thing in the bios.. All the temps are fine and within spec from what i can tell. First it would be the computer completely shutting down but the symtoms have changed from the pc shutting down to boinc crashing. Im doing all the same projects i always do except that new subprojects from wcg. So any advice as to what to check for would be greatly apreciated. Curently running with default bios setting and no overclock, still using the old 6.xx version. Im starting to think this motherboard is bad again since i already had to send it off for repair once.

I will assume you have already run Antivirus/spyware/malware utils. Have you cleaned your Windows Registry (CCleaner (http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner) + CCenhancer (http://singularlabs.com/software/ccenhancer/)) and defragged your HDD, ignoring the M$ util; its a piece of junk, with something like Auslogics Disk Defrag? (http://www.auslogics.com/en/software/disk-defrag/download/)

Other things to try
*(Windows Only) Reboot in SafeMode - This will reset all Windows pre-boot cache files which when corrupted can cause all sorts of problems.
*Reinstall BOINC
*Check system hardware; all fans spinning, re-seat (remove/connect) all power/data cables and RAM sticks? Cleaned the CPU Cooler with canned air or vacuum cleaner?
*Run Memtest86+: Built into Win7 install CD or can be run from a LiveCD/Thumb Drive (Link (http://www.memtest.org/))
*Run Prime95 (http://mersenne.org/freesoft/) to stress test (http://www.playtool.com/pages/prime95/prime95.html) CPU
*Run Furmark (http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/) to test GPU(s)

The extreme fix: Reinstall Windows! (Yuck.....!)
