Just swapped a HD 5870 for a EVGA superclock GTX 560 Ti and was wondering how high an oc could I go? I'm at 1003 and testing now. Temps at 70c, memory set at 1050. No voltage increase at this time.

You can OC it until it doesn't boot to Windows anymore :D At least this is what my friend does.

LOL! :)) Yep. That would be the limit alright. :D hehe...well, I think you'll hit a point where either you temp goes too high when it's crunching, or you start getting WU errors. At whatever point you hit that, just back off 25MHz and try it again.

That's 100 higher than I ever took my 560, but I don't try to run oc as far as they'll go. I also liked to run Gpugrid and that high an oc probably wouldn't get you a valid Wu there, but has no problem running DiRT or PG.

Pick your project then keep going til they fail, then back up like DP suggested. In all honesty, you may be pretty close to the limit without a voltage increase.

Well, seems like I got a bad card. Need to return in to EVGA. I've tried everything to keep the card crunching. I've even downclocked the card without success. Checked NewEgg and this seems to be a problem with this batch. Artifacts and wu's error out. GRR!!

Doggon the timing of it all, mate! :p Oh well, such is life, I suppose, but it does bum one out right in the middle of something big! :(
