I'm too lazy to look this up, so forgive the question.

Aside from Collatz, are there projects that can run on the GPU listed in the Title of this thread? I have a new laptop, but I don't want to stress it for any project on which I have 100M (and Collatz falls under that category).

All the GPUs in the 63xxM series are Single Precision FP so any project not requiring DP will run on yours.

So, is there a link to which ones are single precision? I know Collatz is, MW is NOT, but I'm not sure beyond that.

Try Donate first, and then Moo, and then DiRT - in that order for credits. :D

All of them are Single Precision.

Listed under the Performance Specifications tab
* Engine clock speed: 500-750 MHz
* Processing power (single precision): 80-120 GigaFLOPS
* Polygon throughput: 125-187.5M polygons/sec
* Data fetch rate (32-bit): 16-24 billion fetches/sec
* Texel fill rate (bilinear filtered): 4-6 Gigatexels/sec
* Pixel fill rate: 2-3 Gigapixels/sec
* Anti-aliased pixel fill rate: 8-12 Gigasamples/sec
* Memory clock speed: 800-900 MHz
* Memory data rate: 1.6-1.8 Gbps
* Memory bandwidth: 12.8-14.4 GB/sec

I believe he meant which projects where single Precision...

Oh, and BTW...

I believe that ATI 63xx will crunch much like the ATI 5450. Specs are near the same:

http://www.amd.com/US/PRODUCTS/DESKTOP/GRAPHICS/ATI-RADEON-HD-5000/HD-5450-OVERVIEW/Pages/hd-5450-overview.aspx

As for REAL crunching:

I did a crunchtest on Collatz with a ATI 5450 a couple of years ago..:p:p Here´s my thread from back then:

Ack! OK, as far as I know only MW requires DP. Most of the others are OpenCL which requires 5xxx series or higher.

Hehe... Yeah, I was wondering about projects, not the GPU itself. :p

But good to know. I'll try it out on some of those other projects... Thanks!
