BOINC is really beginning to ruffle my feathers.

So, I just got my 100M on Donate. I'm attempting to move the ATI cards to another project (ideally, Poem or Albert, since both of those are sub-1M for me). But what do I get? BSOD. Nothing but BSOD.

Win7x64. BOINC 7.0.25. I was running Donate beautifully on 12.3. No issues. The second I moved off Donate onto Poem, I got a BSOD. Uninstalled 12.3, installed 12.4, BSOD. Upgraded BOINC to 7.0.28, BSOD. Switched over to Albert, BSOD. Running the 5870s at 800/700, where they've been running forever.

Any thoughts as to what I can try next? This is irritating the crap out of me...

Not sure really. I do believe both projects have new apps so have you tried resetting them? Have you run CCleaner recently?

Also test your card with Furmark (Link (http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/)) to see if your card can run the gauntlet. Just to make sure.

Wait for it...

Perhaps you could try Linux. I guarantee you won't get any BSOD's.

Or actual real unix. Perhaps BSD, or Hackintosh (http://www.hackintosh.com/)?
