Friends-

Do you really own the smartphone or computer you’re using to read this email?

If you sold your computer, would you be breaking the law? A federal court in New York says you would be.

It's unbelievable, but trademark and copyright holders really are trying to take away your right to sell things that you own. Please click here to fight back:

The First-Sale Doctrine gives us the right to sell most property we own. But if the Supreme Court supports the lower court’s decision, we won't really “own” anything if it's from a different country. We expect them to issue a ruling later this year.

The President can urge the Court to side with consumers; then Congress will probably weigh in on the issue, no matter how the Court rules.

If we lose this fight, anybody who wants to resell foreign products, from Macbooks and iPhones to our clothing and textbooks, will have to ask copyright holders for permission first. And they'll have the right to deny it!

It's bad for so many reasons: It'll undermine Craigslist and Ebay, hurt the environment, increase incentives for manufacturers to move jobs off-shore, and effectively ban the traditional American yard sale.
Just click here to email your lawmakers right away:

Thanks!

Things are getting wild. This is something to think about very deep. The corporations are taking the power and dominating the justice system but that was expected.

While the comunists were a counter point of the power the capitalist system keep on observing freedom and watching the inner system in order to have a best human profile between our leaders. It was not alowded for a banker to do half of the things they can do today.

No political system can survive longer with the worst of human beings on the top. I was shocked the other day, some young lads talking about some entrepeneur that won a lot of money by not observing the minimum rules for any regular human being.

Everything is lawful to earn money even being a sociopath paranoid thief. That is what we are teatching our children, not about being solidary or a good man, being a good man is old-fashioned. The best of intentions of mankind are getting buried on the trash of the new thoughts and the agressivity without borders that we are letting to lead our life.

Comunism felt because of the bad leaders they had, true sociopaths and assassins as Stalin that joined Hitler at least for a small while. But comunism as felt and now?

Do we the people that are the strengh of democracy be able to see and change things or are we going to behave as cattle. Our world is getting worst and worst, we need to find a path that lead to honesty and good feelings (the best of man) and can reward a man for his work, not for his ability in shitting on anyone (the worst of man). That is only the tip of a very big iceberg and we are in Titanic some on the best places and others not but we are all in the same boat.

Good old times that the honor of a man was stronger than any money. The newest generation is losing it and they will be in power soon, very soon. I fear most for the future.

My five cents, sorry for the crazy Duke's ideas about something you see it as so simple and I don't.
