So, I have the itch to do some upgrades to my farm. But what?

GPU? I want more 7900 goodness, but really want to wait for the dual card. 690 is $999...but I already have a lot of nvidia strength. Anything else on the horizon?

CPUs? Nothing new soon, right?

I am out of the pc part market for awhile, time to save for move next year. So, I am avoiding looking at parts and news so I don't get the itch.

No new line of (good) CPUs til next year. There's a decent chance the AMD HD 8000 series and Nvidia's 700 series will show up by the end of the year, or at least before new CPUs do. Other than that...bleh

I am still waiting for the AMD FX-8100 to hit the retailers here in Denmark....But it´s not gonna happen I guess....:(

I'm stuck waiting for the dual AMD card as well. Later this month unless they push it back again.
