I was searching the net for a solution to the limited GPU space for one of my systems, and came across a reference concerning high current draw problems when running 3 or 4 ATI/AMD 5xxx. 6xxx and 7xxx series cards. This probably also applies to high-end CUDA cards.

Read about the problem and its solution on Zorinaq's blog (here (http://blog.zorinaq.com/?e=44))

Also found a cheap source for PCIe x16 Bus extension cables on eBay (here (http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sop=15&_from=R40&_nkw=pcie+flexible+extender&LH_PrefLoc=1))

Done. And you have nothing to fear except fear itself.

or to quote Paul Atreides reciting the Bene Gesserit Litany Against Fear.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
