i dont remember exactly but i think the gpu ill upgrade my new e6300 box with is a 5550 or 4550 do these crunch better than a gt240? one has 512 mb ram other has 1gb ill choose one if its worth it. the 512 mb one is only 55$ so id rather get that if it can do over 100k rac id be happy! the box currently has a 7700 or something like that nvidia. to the shop it goes tomorrow.

ok thanks! tomorrow it goes in for repair so i think ill just get it for the lousy 60$ he wants for it. then ill have more diversity. im buying another gig of ram too so itll have 2gb.

actually i dont need a new ps ill stick my gt240 in that box and the 460 in my q9450 box that one has a 800w bfg ps. the 460 from what i read doesnt really take much to run.

@Greg - yeah, the 460 is a sweet spot card. A lot of credits for little power draw - it's credit per watt is nice when compared to other NV cards. :)
