Because of the our temporary move to a rental starting mid December, I have reluctantly decided to put Hydra6 and Black Dragon up for sale. It doesn't make sense to store them for 6 to 9 months.
Both are dedicate crunchers with great air flow.
For a dedicated seti.usa or friend of SUSA I am looking to get $1,300 for Black Dragon and $1,100 for Hydra6 (or highest reasonable offer).

As currently configured both have the same base setup with different GPUs, drives and power.

Common to both

AMD FX-8150 FX 8-Core Black Edition Processor (both o.c. to 4.5 ghz, no issues on any project yet).
ASUS Sabertooth 990FX
Cosair H100
CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 CML16GX3M4X1600C7 Timings - 7-8-8-24
HAF 932 (both with side fan - one I modified the plastic side panel to add the 200 mm fan)
Lots of fans, they can take the heat
Windows 7 - I will dig up the Windows disks.
All four of the 7970s are running at 1185 with no problem.

Differences:

BlackDragon 3 GPUS
Antec High Current Pro HCP-1200
2 - GIGABYTE GV-R797OC-3GD Radeon HD 7970
1 - MSI AMD Radeon HD 6970 R6970 Lightning 2GB
1 TB C: Seagate ST2000DM001 Barracuda 7200RPM 2 TB SATA 6 GB/s
1 TB D: Seagate ST2000DM001 Barracuda 7200RPM 2 TB SATA 6 GB/s
I took lower 7970 apart to fix heat issues, new paste helped. Black Dragon will also come with ARCTIC Accelero Xtreme 7970 VGA Cooler, which I had planed to use on the lower card if heat issues hadn't improved. It is new and unopened.
The Bottom GPU is suspended by cable ties to improve air flow between the cards connected via extension cable.
It's hard to see in the pic, but Black Dragon has the AMD dragon printed on the side plastic panel.

Hydra6 2 GPUS
Antec High Current Pro 80Plus PSU ATX 1000 Power Supply HCP-1000 PLATINUM
1 - GIGABYTE GV-R797OC-3GD Radeon HD 7970
1 - MSI R7970 Lightning Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16
two - 1 TB C: Western Digital 1 TB Caviar Green mirrored

As you can see from the pictures (will add to this thread) both currently have top mounted power with extra top and lower fans. The H100s are set to exhaust out through the front drive bays. H100s are held in place via pressure from cardboard inserts. The inserts also keep the heat from being blown back into the case.

No UPS, keyboard, mouse or monitor is included.

If you have questions please let me know. PM me if you are interested.

If you are in MN, we can arrange a pickup before I leave. If you are near Buffalo, NY, we can arrange a meeting after I move.

Sorry to see the dragons are on the block but I'm glad you are giving a teammate a shot at them. Looking forward to the rebuilds that you'll be putting together in a few months.

I will also be willing to sell off individual GPUs from the PCs. Feel free to make me an offer

A few folks have asked about the GPU pricing, so I am adding info to this thread also.
MSI Lightning 6970 $150 (shipping to Fire$torm)
MSI lightning 7970 $240 (sale in progess to kaptainkarl1)
GigaByte 7970 with the free extra cooler $200 (completed - Al McAdams)
GigaByte 7970 $200 (shipping to Coronicus)
GigaByte 7970 $200 (Completed - nanoprobe)

All about half price of new. I do want to leave at least one GPU per PC - well that didn't happen GPUs all sold. Dropped the overall price a bit.

BlackDragon remaining parts no longer for sale, going into storage
Hydra6 remaining parts no longer for sale, going into storage

Obviously if you want a PC with one or more of the other GPUs the price would change accordingly (e.g. $50 less with just the 6970 installed).
You might be able to part these baby's out, I don't have the time for it.

Wow nice deals... Let me know if you have a hard time getting ride of the 7970 and ill help you out but i rather see it go to someone that can crunch 24/7 with since i have to pause gpu crunching during the summer.

The way the dragons are designed, they can handle a lot of heat. But I suppose the issue might be cooling the house ;)
I switched to running these 2 in the basement where it is always cool. I ran a new power circuit to other end of the basement away from the wood working equipment.

If any thing sells , I will update this thread.
