Not sure it will get here by the start of the challenge. If it doesn't get here Saturday then it won't be till Monday.

4870 Just got bumped, although I think there is a faulty sensor or something on it. It can't be overclocked. CC says it runs hot and the fan is always at 100%, but it has been running like that for 2 years and still cranking out the credits. You have a slot you could put it in? You can have it if you want it.

Couple of days ago I upgraded my cpu from an 860 to a 875. I also replaced my 4x2 gig sticks with 4x4 gig sticks. Its not going to help with the challenge but I will be putting the old cpu and memory into a box I have sitting around gathering dust. All I need now is a monitor and dvd drive. She'll be up and running in Jan!

Well I got the 5870s installed for the last day of the challenge. I still need to go under the house and do the card swapping / shuffle to put the 5850s back in action and pull the 4870.

I feel guilty now... I haven't done my card shuffle and I have 2-5850 cards sitting on a shelf not crunching... I am very bad. X_X , it has only been what a month? I resolve to not watch the NFL playoff games this weekend until I get the cards swapped and back into crunching action!

Speaking of Football, I wish I had access to the old website database. Dcushing made some sort of statement at the beginning of the season. I can't remember the exact details, but it was something like if the Bears made it to the Superbowl, he would rejoin the team. Go Bears!=))
