I am trying to run some docking WUs but the tasks always give 0% don't have checkpoint and now I have one running for about 24 hours.

Any ideas about what is happening? Because that is the third time I am trying to run docking always with the same result. I think I am going to give up. I will wait a bit longer for any ideas about what is happening.

I gave up Docking and I am sailing now.

I've never had that issue with Docking, not sure what is causing it for you.

I was on the Docking's message board and there are several messages with the same problem but I couldn't understand if they did anything to correct the problem.

I will instal Ubuntu on this computer in some days to run math projects and will start another one to work and crunch on Win7.

Thanks for the good intention denim.

I hope you're able to get it working. Docking is a good project that is doing good work, not far from me actually. ;)

I am back running Docking again (got to keep the wolves away from my #1 Team spot) and I have not had a problem with any wu s. I can't imagine why you are having trouble.

Duke I've been running it full bore for a week now (7 machines) without any issues. I've even shut down WU and they DO checkpoint. The progress bar and time remaining are perfect. I'm at a loss on what is going wrong with yours!

I don't know either but in about 15 days I will change OS and as it seems to be a Windows7 thing, I am not very worried about this. There is a thread in Message boards : Number crunching : Check Pointing with this address http://ec2-23-23-126-96.compute-1.amazonaws.com/pogs/forum_thread.php?id=1&postid=1 on Docking message boards.

I tried to follow the problem, that I have for long now (since I installed Win7) but I couldn't. You see Bryan, the analysis seem too technical for me and for being too long with a small letter, I just can not read (on a understandable way) the damn forum (dyslexia fault).

You can see in there (and probably much better than me) that this is recurrent problem with Docking (on Win7). I will get to Docking latter but I didn't stopped crunching, I am running other projects and preparing a new working (but also crunching) computer.

I need to go slowly now, much more than I was used to do and maybe the truth is I just can not understand what it is written because I am getting more lazy than usual.

Lazy (and a bit ill) Duke

I ran a number of Docking WU's recently with no issues. Not sure if I will make a push on it when we are not on a challenge.

Hey Duke,

That link points to the theSkyNet POGS forum not Docking@Home's. Which project are you having the problem with?

Yeha, you see F$ I am getting really confused but I am sure I try to make some Docking WUs, the problem is exactly the same, I lost myself on POGS forum. It is the same problem but on Docking. I will look for it as soon as I can.

Thanks for the advice, man I am getting really confused...
