Be interesting to see if NVIDIA answers this...
The Ares card is faster at double precision than the Tesla K20, which costs $3500 at newegg. It also blows away the Tesla at single precision. Would be interesting to see what a non-hobbled GTX 690 could do.

Tempted to buy the Ares...but....haven't cared for ATI in sooo very long (I know, maybe I should get over it). It's a hell of a nice card - but one hell of a chunk of change too. I've spent less money on things that...I could drive....

Anybody getting married? Buy this card instead of the engagement ring - she'll understand...:p
It currently costs $1585 dollars (999 pounds) at overclockers.co.uk (assuming you don't have to pay VAT)
