The credit was 29,000 for just the one work unit and without any bonus. it was enough for the bronze badge(20K) :> Very kool.

The GenferWR WU's are bonkers long on less then superman GPU's. I am constantly pushing on PG, but it seems like the machines with GPU's that get loaded up on GFN and PPS SV WU's, rarely get any CPU WU's from the other sub-projects.

Thank you zombie, I guess I will reselect the WR WU's. I think I have a tendency to micromanage when the GPU's are doing mega length WU's and the RAC takes a strong dip down. Then again, the regular GFN WU's on my GT 430, take 640,549.05 seconds (~ 7.5 days), so the WR GFN's are an eternity.

Well, sort of. Some were extremely difficult to even get to 100 hours. Some apps have been changed and no longer have wus. In theory, you are correct, but I'm sure it won't work that way in practice.

I will let the big time MMers answer this one, but it has to do with how many DIFFERENT projects you have run for X number of hours. So it's not just like I ran SETI or POGs for X hours, so I get X star. You have to run many different projects that long to equal that star. It's an interesting way to get people to crunch a lot of different projects. I'm obviously not that into it, but I think it's a pretty cool way of showing those who are dedicated to the broader spectrum of BOINC and not just a few pet projects. :)

Never seen a WCG beta like this one. If you weren't there in the first 1.5 hours of startup the 10,000 tasks were gone and all you got were resends. Of the tasks I got only 1 made it to PV and it's still PV. All the rest were errors. Still got time credit and points for the errors so not all was lost. 6 days close to blue beta badge. :cool:

Hey I have a question speaking of badges. Since I switched to the new badge layout, I lost my "MM" badge. When I was on stats.free-dc.org, I had an extra badge that said "MM." What was that? Any way to get it back with the animated badge layout? I switched to get the POGs trophy on there.

Congrats. WCG beta badges are indeed hard to come by. It took tons of babysitting but I managed to do well on this beta. I only need about 4 more beta runs like this one to reach the holy grail. I won't hold my breath. :)

I thought somebody asked about the MM Badge Bok puts out in his Free-DC Signature, I received an e-mail about it anywoot

In order to show the MM Badge with a signature like mine or cineon_lut below me just copy the entire Bok signature to your Desktop
Then use a image program to cut & copy/save just the MM part of the signature
Upload it to someplace like Image Shack
Then use the Image URL provided by them to show the MM Badge along with my type of Badge
