My account page at TN-Grid have that badge that I posted maybe someone knows better about this project. Anyway we are going very good and are on the top at this project pity that was not on time for the first million.

Yup, I really don't spend that many actual Man Hr's watching the Video's though. You can speed the Video's up to x16 with Google Chrome or to x5 with FireFox so it cut's down on your viewing time. I actually have both Browsers caching video's from different Bird Sites then scroll back thru them while watching TV. There's also other shortcut's you catch on to after you View the Video's for awhile ... ;)
I'm now up to a Quad sapphire badge http://volunteer.cs.und.edu/wildlife/alpha/wildlife_badges/Feder4Saph.png for watching 42 weeks (25,401,600 seconds) of validated video's, 3 Bades's higher than previously :D Only 3 Badges to go for now unless they raise the Badge Level's more, somethng I don't expect them to do for awhile because they can't get enough people to view the Video's at the Badge Levels they have in place now ... I think I have enough Viewed Video Second's Pending already to get all 3 Higher Badges ... :D :D

My lonely little star on my WUProp badge just turned silver thanks to the Collatz mini app. :) Now the question is......should I continue to work it or should I turn my attention to getting my second star?? Despite not having access to my antminers, I hear Bitcoin Utopia pays well. *giggle* Being limited to 5 hours a day of internet to download/upload will continue to hinder that project for me.

My personal badge strategy: First get all badges to the minimum value, so that they at least show up on the sig graphic. That makes them easier to track, since it's too easy to forget which badges exist for which projects. Then figure out what to work on next.

I'm doing a lot of the same thing, except I'm also trying to push the WUProp app hours up after 1000 at the same time (I've decided that Ruby is the minimal acceptable color for a WUProp star).

If you go to your account at Wuprop, go into WuProp Preferences and edit them and switch this one to 'yes' (
Should WUProp@Home show app hours statistics on your account data page and export statistics?).
The data for your hours will be exported. I parse all of that and display it.
It looks better on my new version of the stats, which is not quite ready yet. Yours would be here (http://stats6.free-dc.org/user/wup/68526) but you can see it in the current version of the stats too.

Me too! Glad you're enjoying it. I went through a mad scramble a while back to get at least five stars. Now, I'm only 14 applications away from getting my 5th star up to the 1000 hours level.
Two other things:
1. You should tick the option in your WUProp account to export your hours stats. That way Free-DC will pick them up, and others can see where you're putting hours.
2. If you want to get hours quickly, attach to the 9 active NCI projects:

I finally got a gold badge on that one a few weeks ago. I did enough WU to go from bronze to gold ... then it took over 3 months for enough to validate to hit my goal. So a month to crunch it might be much faster than the time to validate :D

One thing I would like to see is they GOLD color translated to something that actually shows up ... I have the same problem on the WuProp project page. I have to highlight the GOLD ones to see what they say. I don't know if it is the monitor or my old eyes :D

For the project page, it only shows what your current totals, and what you have in progress. It doesn't tell you how much you earned over the last day, yesterday, last week, etc. Your free-dc version does all that. That's what I like about it. It makes it real easy to see how things are progressing over time, without having to take notes.

The WUProp stats page you linked to looks great! I just plugged my user id into the link and bookmarked it, because I still can't figure out how to navigate there.
If I could have any stat on the WUProp user stat page, it would be Hours by Host. I've been having a problem with one of my computers of only getting 20 hours per day use... it would be handy to take a quick look and make sure all my hosts are running 24hrs/day and to verify the correct projects are running on the correct number of cores.
unfortunately the data is not by host that comes from wuprop. I could check in with Sebastian and see if that is possible.

yes, it's score in the current stats. No colors in that version, though the data is still there. The link I sent is from stats6 which is where I've been rewriting the stats front end, using datatables (sorting on any column), html5,css3 etc etc. As well as user friendly URL's. You can use it, most things work, but not everything is coded yet :) I use it personally...

I think you're talking about a separate issue, Z. What denim is talking about is comparing WUProp hours stats on Free-DC vs. WUProp account.
For example, if you look at your WUProp hours stats on Free-DC (http://stats6.free-dc.org/user/wup/797), you'll see 341 apps listed. But if you look at your hours stats on WUProp (http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/show_user.php?userid=797), you'll only see 311. This is because some apps have changed names (coughbitcoinutopiacough), and are listed twice on Free-DC. I PM'ed Bok a list of the ones I found earlier today.
Could we get back to using this thread for what it was intended to be used for like Posting New Individual Badges ... Thank You
