Intel Releases OpenCL 1.2 for Ivy Bridge and Haswell

The driver is for Windows 7 and 8 only. Intel has also released an updated SDK along with the driver.


Also of note, Intel has also recently updated their VTune Amplifier 2013 tool to add support for collecting GPU performance metrics in OpenCL applications running on Intel GPUs.

I wonder if this will improve GPU crunching? I'll give it a shot.

Heh - I just saw that on Anandtech yesterday and thought of you. It's got to help if it's more efficient...just bummed it doesn't seem like we'll get the good GPUs in the Haswell crunchers as JPM posted. I'm thinking more and more that your decision to go SB-E with socket 2011 was the best.:p
