Never saw that before. Looks like some sorta data corruption on your end. Some ideas: Did you change either your email address or password? Did you try resetting a project to see if that solved it?

My 1st thought was that maybe the computer name had changed. I would try zombie's suggestion 1st.

I found a post on S@H's forum (Here (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=61549)) where the issue was the client not being able to talk to the project server. Since all of your projects have the same error, that could indicate a network issue like a bad cable/NIC/network switch/router or cable modem. Also it would be worth checking your firewall settings and check network manager to see if NIC is enabled.

Duh.... I just found something possible in a post (Here (http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/forum_thread.php?id=1438))

.....Suggest you detach|...| Be sure you haven't suspended your network access before you do the attach...

I noticed this last times I installed Win XP 64 and Win 7 64 that Boinc didn't recognized the computer before the updates for windows, I don't know what is missing but it seemed to me in both times that was something connected to Microsoft.NET Framework but I am not sure .

I would try to install all the updates before trying BOINC again. I know that seems quite stupid, I just noticed there was some problem and after the windows updates everything started working fine.

HMM! Looking at these lines in the event log it looks like your data directory is corrupted. So Boinc might have got lost.

No changes. Yes tried resetting several projects to no avail.

Did you try to uninstall BOINC using the Control Panel deleting all the BOINC pastes afterwards and install it from scratch because after trying it all that is what I would do.

You just did it(kind of), but I would have just deleted the two files that it said were bad/corrupt and then you might have only affected the two projects.

Good kaptainkarl1 a bit of work now to get things back to work but you could save cconfig and apps on the desktop with other names and copy/rename afterwards to the right spots. I am happy that is working now.:D
