Can't find anything in these forums, but it has got to be here.

Keep getting checksum errors on GPUGRID and Einstein downloads on only a couple of boxes. Other boxes work fine on these projects. From what I can find in their forums, I've check marked "Skip image file verification", but it is no better. Tried both 7.0.28 and 7.0.64, no difference. Uninstalled BOINC including all the file folders and registry entries I could find; reinstalled BOINC. Errors are typically like this one:

185 GPUGRID 4/21/2013 12:52:11 PM [error] MD5 check failed for I100R6-NATHAN_dhfr36_5-13-psf_file
186 GPUGRID 4/21/2013 12:52:11 PM [error] expected 4d2f04b56cbcc7e11aac1287671717ae, got e23a3b41b98784da41b4d28188b9b1c2
187 GPUGRID 4/21/2013 12:52:11 PM [error] Checksum or signature error for I100R6-NATHAN_dhfr36_5-13-psf_file

Once in a while I see this error:

3774 GPUGRID 4/21/2013 10:28:34 AM [error] Signature verification failed for cudart32_42_9.dll
3775 GPUGRID 4/21/2013 10:28:34 AM [error] Checksum or signature error for cudart32_42_9.dll

After enough failed downloads it tells me I'm at my limit of 22 tasks. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Have you tried re-installing cuda?

Have you tried re-installing cuda?

Uninstalled Nvidia 314.22. Rebooted. Cleaned registry. Rebooted. Cleaned registry again. Rebooted. Installed Nvidia 314.22, the same that is on the other boxes that are working OK. Rebooted. Still get checksum/signature error from GPUGrid.

117 GPUGRID 4/21/2013 3:11:35 PM [error] MD5 check failed for I15R20-NATHAN_dhfr36_5-7-psf_file

FYI, cudart32_42_9.dll = 32-bit version of CUDA 4.2 build #9. You might want to shutdown boinc, delete the cuda dll, and restart boinc and see if it re-downloads the DLL. Maybe the download was corrupted and that's the reason you are getting the MD5 error.
