Building on the work of Dan_Ee (http://mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=18043), I have compiled and deployed new Windows x64 apps. These are 50% to 100% faster than the 32-bit apps depending on your processor. Please let me know if you encounter problems.

Right now the universe of NFS@Home is constituted by 292 Linux computers, 555 Windows x86 computers and 656 Windows x64. At least 656 Windows x64 machines will have a quicker application matching linux one. More work done, more points gained per day for these users.

How can that be??? That means *my* farm alone is 35% of the total of Linux NFS crunchers! :)

You "have" a bunch of servers! Look now at the global output stats and the one a few days ago before you moved "your" cores to SIMAP and you will see a decrease in credit between 30-40 %. Therefore you are right.
