Wildlife@Home: another batch of workunits generated

Hi Everyone, I just sent out a new batch of workunits with some tweaks to the feature file, which should be able to give us some more interesting results. I've assimilated the SURF workunits and am working on analyzing that data. I've also been taking a look at the data back from the motion detection workunits as well, and for a taste of what's come back here are some charts: http://people.cs.und.edu/~tdesell/piping_plover_all.png http://people.cs.und.edu/~tdesell/least_tern_all.png http://people.cs.und.edu/~tdesell/sharptailed_grouse_all.png Which display the ranges of the motion detection values across all the videos analyzed. It looks like there's definitely two peaks in each of them, and I'm looking into them in more detail to figure out what that is. It may be day vs night, but it also may be bird motion vs non bird motion. I'll post more updates as I get a better picture of what's going on. I'll also be driving back to NY to go to a conference and spend some time with the family, so I'll be mostly offline for the next two days, so if I'm slow to respond that's why. --Travis
