My sister-in-law lives in OK city. She said the tornado sirens sounded several times during the day. Her complaint is that since the sirens go off for such a huge area, many people don't take them seriously. So, even though there may have been 15-20 minutes between when they went off and when it hit (at least on some areas), after the third time in a single day, people move a lot slower when heading into the shelters, some with disastrous results.

Couldn't beleive how fast it went from a small cone, to a stove pipe, then a wedge and then a monstor. Really feel bad for those kids at the school.
