You'll see some cost savings built in to this, like the cpu cooler ( $20 ), small ssd, cheaper memory, Windows 7 home, etc.... but this list is geared towards CPU work using onboard video and a KVM that I already own. It allows GPU's down the road and so on. Any suggestions? There are some rebates and discounts not shown, took $80 more off the bill.

For the SSD, go with the Samsung 840 Pro 120GB. So far it has the best warranty and lowest RMA rate. The OCZ Vector series has the same warranty but suffers from higher RMA rate. I know the Samsung costs more but I've seen it on sale on MacMall (IIRC) for under $120 w/ free shipping.

And for PSUs with the lowest RMA rates...

And the overall best brand is...???

lol sorry
