Based on the first few tasks, it will make over 615,000/day on PG.

I'm conflicted. I already have my 100M MMs at dnetc, mm, and collatz. So there is nothing else to run my ATI cards on, except PG. And at the same time, distrgen is cuda only. So I think I will be using my 580 on distrgen, and letting my ati cards work PG, even though CUDA is much more efficient on PG.

I had to RMA the card. Not sure what was wrong with it, but it was 1-4x slower than other 580s on GPUGRID. Also, it was like 20% slower on PG. Very odd! Nothing I did made any difference. Time to get a new one on order! Does anyone have a brand or model preference?

Not being an Nvidia expert, I recall seeing some threads on GPUGrid that the Fermis need a Windows system switch to be changed to get them to full potential. You might want to dig around a bit.

What is a Windows system switch?

What is a Windows system switch?

Not sure if your being sarcastic but just in case swithes are added to the end of a command to add specific functions or behavior.
Example:
This starts Windows Explorer ---> %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe
and this (switches in blue)---> %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n, /e, C:\ starts Windows Explorer with the folder tree view in the left column and directs Explorer to go to the root of drive C.

Nope. I've never heard the term before in my life. Okay "switch" is the windows term for command options/modifiers/arguments. Got it.

So...back to the suggestion.

Bryan, are you talking about the environmental "SWAN_SYNC=0". Yes, I have that set. Or were you talking about something else?

Yeh, I think that was the one. I didn't pay a lot of attention to it since I don't have any Fermis but it was mentioned multiple times.

I couldn't swing the GTX 580 so I picked this one up. http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6528208&CatId=3669

Don't know what I will put it on yet but I have 3 PCI-e slots in my XFX nForce 78i 3-way SLI board. 1 slot has a gts 260 card and I think I will just put the new one in this case with a q6600 and 4 gb of 1066 ram. I am overclocked to 2.88 right now and I think I can go a bit higher without cranking up the voltage. The card can also be overclocked more then it is. We will see what it will do next week. I should have it Monday.

No I didn't look at your chart. I guess I might have been better off getting the 465. On the other hand I will have to see what the 460 does on Folding @ Home since that is what I run on my gpu cards.
