BitCoin Utopia: The project is back

Hello! We are back. Some people have said it would be a waste of time to wait for the Project #1 to appear (http://ec2-50-16-56-114.compute-1.amazonaws.com/bitcoinutopia/forum_thread.php?id=27). Project #1 would be the first Bitcoin Utopia project for crowdfunding a real innovation award. The bitcoins are going to the Vault for Energy and Environment Awards: 15htdXzvJWc4ewseT7FzbQ3B4AQAmPGNFV (https://50btc.com/api/15htdXzvJWc4ewseT7FzbQ3B4AQAmPGNFV) With the vault system, user can choose which kind of awards he/she wants to crowdfund. When an award eventually shows up, the bitcoins from the appropriate vault go to fund that award. More applications (for other vaults) are coming soon... PS. Is the new credit system ok? 1200 cobblestones for 20 shares and 6000 cobblestones for 100 shares. I heard rumours that the old credit system (800 cobblestones for 10 shares) was too high... PPS. Also remember that there is no checkpointing system at the moment. The application should be running continuously with an active Internet connection. Otherwise, you might lose valuable CPU/GPU time. Does anyone know how to do checkpointing? PPPS. Linux application is still missing. I noticed that my own Ubuntu is completely broken, so it might take some time before I'm able to test the Linux application. Henri.

Well, if he holds to the stupid idea that his project pays too much then BitCoin will give a LOT less credit then Dirt. Dirt already pays better from what I can tell. I do over 1.2M on Dirt with x2 460s and x1 570. Under BitCoin's original credit scheme the best I could do was 900K+. Not worth it in my book....

Bitcoin runs MUCH faster on ATI. Same with Donate. So yeah, keep your nvidia for other projects.

ooops, I forgot to mention that I had ALL my GPUs on BitCoin and could not match my 3 CUDAs on Dirt.
