AMD seems to be watching too many action movies... I usually use AMD video cards as they've always worked as promised. I used to use Sound Blaster, but they haven't kept up or have gone away... As for gaming, it depends on the game and such as to what I need. I look for function over hype all the time... and I don't watch TV...

@Justgeo1: All the games I play run well on either brand though I usually prefer how AMD handles color tones.
