World Community Grid: The FightAIDS@Home project adds new modeling tool

The FightAIDS@Home team is adding a new modeling tool to further advance the World Community Grid simulations. In future, project volunteers might notice one of two tools being used, depending on the specific work unit being processed.

Yeah, but no way to select the new vs. old app. Ah well. It is something to come back to later.

Heads up!

There is a preference setting at WCG, "Please opt me in to new projects as they become available." I have this set to YES, of course. I chase badges.

BUT! They treated adding a new app to an existing project as if it was a new project. That means all my machines started downloading FA@H tasks, both kinds. No thanks, I already have my blue FA@H badge.

So if you have a similar set up, you are also getting unwanted tasks....
