You may recall several threads going back about 9 months, where I was experimenting with building a small, powerful Mac Mini beater, with a non-mobile CPU. I built several different form factors. Anyway, it's time to sell one of them. If this were built new today, it would cost $926.

Price: $500, including shipping in the US. That's half price.

$290 i7-3770 (IB) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116502
$120 z77n-wifi mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128568
$185 shoebox case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163212
$126 16gb RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233280
$65 1tb HD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236339
$140 Win7 64bit http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116992
$926 Total if new today. If you add in tax and S/H, well over $1k.

Notes:
-Bought & built in November 2012, so it's about 9 months old. It's been a dedicated cruncher since then.
-It will GPU-crunch on both the built in HD 4000 graphics, and a PCIe card at the same time
-This chassis will fit and power just about any GPU, up to dual wide, up to 12.2", even those requiring dual 8 pin PCIe connectors. Details and pictures here: http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=261
- Built in wifi

Note: This is intended for a team mate. Please don't buy this just to re-sell it and make a buck.

Ditto. The state of IL is 12+ months behind on paying their bills. According to them, I should be getting a check in the last week of July for services provided back in May/June of 2012. Oh, wait. It's August already. I bet the check is in the mail.... Yah, that's it. (Good thing Mrs. Slicker has a steady income.)

...or the VA, with vets waiting over TWO YEARS for the benefits and medical care we owe them. The situation is a disgrace.
