Yes, I saw CPU-G, but was unable to get anything going on it at all. The point of this topic is I have another old Dell box that I put Ubunutu on it awhile ago.
This is the desktop in question: http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=hostbycpid&cpid=0ab9c8ed176813f25cbf3cda3fc00aff
I am trying to do the same thing to it as I did my old Xp box, where I upgraded the power supply based on help here. Then added a GeForce GT 430 GPU.
So since I have two more GeForce GT 430's new in box, (because the new PSU on the old Xp box was strong enough for one 430, but maybe not strong enough for two and maybe the board just doesn't like it) I feel that it would be great to know if it is just a PSU upgrade on the above linked Ubuntu box, and if it will take the GeForce GT 430 (or two). Yes, I tried starting the machine with one 430 in it on the OEM power supply and no luck. As I see it, $40 for a new PSU and drop in the 430, it would be worth it for pinch more horsepower on this team.
