I have a q9450 cpu and 2 gigs of corsair xms2-6400 ddr2 dhx dual path memory and a thermaltake 775 cpu cooler don't remember the name but its for a full tower I reckon it was the best 6 yrs ago and would still be plenty good its upgraded with a turbine 120mm fan. for free just be the first to answer this thread. send me a pm with address ill check back in a day or 12 to see.

my old beast died on me. I didn't clean it for yrs then decided to start shutting it off at night one morning it would just pulse on/off so guess it was the power supply. im done with it nothing else worth giving away. bought a new hp pavilion model 500-23w. 8g of ram! and its just one stick!!!! OO

Hope it isn't that long ago as I bought mine to replace a Q6600 both of which I still have. The Q6600 @ 3.6 Ghz on air still beats the Q9450, but mine has a hear problem on one of the cores regardless of the paste or cooler installed.

no cpu is good still. was just a bad p.s im guessing. ive had it oc'd to 3.5 ghz stable on air. and that's noob oc'ing im sure a pro could squeeze more from it.
