To all of the Team Members here.
For a few years now we have had our ups and downs here at Team Musketeers. Many have come and many have left. But the time of life for all things must have its slow death. This team has been slowly declining in numbers and the fire to track on with it has burned out. So If any of you want to keep this team going, Please set up a web site and move the team there. As I am loosing my interest in continuing this team and supporting the web site.
I would like to thank all of you who have been a great support of this team and its thoughts. If you want to start your own team web site and continue the team please get together and I will transfer the Team Musketeers founder to whom ever you choose.
Again I thank all of you very much. It has been a great 4 years and I have had a great time. Take care and may your greater power look over you and yours.
As of 10/19/2013 this site will go down for ever.

Man, i hate to see this happen. Our teams have been great friends for quite awhile. It definitely won't be the same without you guys.

I don't know the history of the Team Musketeers other than these two teams helped each other from forum posts.
I would suggest rounding up the members you have and join us at SETI.USA and combine the strengths from both.
Sorry for my ignorance on the issue if that is the case but we would love to have you guys with us full time if possible.
POGO team challenge November 15th !!! Come jump in the fun cuz it's gonna be a tough one.

It was the best of times on BOINC for me.

Sounds like game winner there if we can get them we need all the CPUs we can get
I think those that are coming are already here. Just a guess on my part.
Well that's sucks big time I wish we could get everyone in the team on one of them and see what we do
It is indeed a sad moment in BOINC history; one that (at least observing from the outside-in) has been of course slowly approaching...but always sad when it's finally here. I had a lot of fun runs with you. In light of the current events, it would be my hope as well that we could all stick together here. With BOK's continued generosity in hosting our boards here, this home is big enough for all view-points on crunching, and we will do our best to be acommidating.
One other thought is if you all would like to have a Musketeer sub group, that's pretty easy to do, and those of us that want the Team Musketeers to live on in glory could add that [Musketeer] to the end of our names.
That's a great idea DrPop, I know that some of the Black Ops guys would be willing to join the Musketeers sub group. I'm just speaking for myself at this point but I think that idea would fly!!!

I never was a member of that team, but I'd like to be a member of the subgroup if it helps them stay as part of BOINC...

Well I know the history, seeing as it started with setiusa members it seems simple to just come back to setiusa. You have a home here, not sure about posting here to find someone to run another team. Welcome all! Sad to see you go Dan, no matter whose team your on.

A living faith will last in the midst of the blackest storm.
You were, you are and ever will be members of all teams.

I have been thinking a lot about The Musketeers for multiple reasons, because I was a true Musketeer for long and because I had a very tied emotional connection with the TeaM.
You get out of SETIUSA for some reasons and those reasons aren't here anymore and in spite I am not crunching anymore (for economical reasons), I would like very much to see you in here again, joining your power to ours and make of the team SETIUSA a better team with your contribution on the forum and your wise words on everyday decisions.
I know you enough to understand you are the most gentle and helping guys I ever knew.
The team you drop out and the reasons you did it are not here anymore. We are a international community of crunchers that for one or other reason love the spirit of freedom that exudes from the United States.
PS: Me, myself, I hate all kind of fanatics of all countries, all religions and of any philosophy, I love open (and free) spirits built on good feelings and open hearts, so you are all WELCOME.
Sunshine is a welcome thing. It brings a lot of brightness.

I don't know the history, but a SUSA member with a [TeaM] subgroup sounds like a great solution!

Duke,
Most of those who have come and gone from SETI.USA have had reasons that may not always be known to us. But the reason for me leaving had many traits. I have always loved to talk to those here who loved life and the promotion of life. Some have returned home to this team and that is good. One must follow their heart and go and do those things in life that makes you happy. Each one on this team here is doing their hobby and that also helps mankind. The plus is you get to meet so many folks and see so many lands that several years ago was not possible for most. Cheers to all.

I like the new layout of The Musketeers Forum, congratulations Dan, the previous one was so difficult for me to read.
.. and Dan thanks for putting my favorite (and best) video on the front page ... I made it for The TeaM ... with love and friendship.

I have been reading The Musketeers book lately and this lines were special for me:
Porthos: You, boy, are arrogant, hot tempered and entirely too bold. I like that. Reminds me of me.
Aramis: Don't encourage him. By helping us the boy has made himself an outlaw as well.
Athos: Not if he leaves Paris right now.
D'Artagnan: I can't leave now, I just got here.
Porthos: Go home. Find a wench, raise fat babies, live a good long life.
D'Artagnan: What about the motto of the Musketeers? All for one and one for all.
Athos: Wake up boy. The Musketeers are just a dream.
1564
D'Artagnan: So what do we do now? What's next?
Porthos: Well, we protect the King.
Aramis: Protect the Queen.
Porthos: In the name of God. And France, correct?
Aramis: France indeed.
[Girard and his brothers have caught up with D'Artagnan. At the other end of the street they draw swords]
Girard: D'Artagnan! My sister's honor will not wait a moment longer.
D'Artagnan: I'll handle this.
Porthos: D'Artganan, we also protect each other.
D'Artagnan: All for one.
Aramis, Porthos, Athos: And one for all.
[Girard's eyes widen]
Girard: RUN!
[Girard and co are pursued by all the musketeers]
