The last two minutes is very unique. The rest has been done for years by drum and bugle corps and marching bands -- although usually not all in a single routine or incredibly synchronized.

Boy does that bring back memories! My high school band competed in the summer and we took as high as second in the Marching Bands of America contest. We were also the band of the month at Disneyland. What I remember best though was a tuba/clarinet duet in our routine (I played tuba). The challenge was that I had knocked out my two upper front teeth while pole vaulting just a few months earlier. Picture the clarinet solo at 1:14 in the following video as a duet with a tuba and you'll get the idea.
