Welcome Val. Let us know what type of computer you have and the projects you like. There are plenty of experts around that can help you.

Val explain that thing about the 4 CPIDs you have right now. In here we have a lot of experts, maybe some of them can help you.
In split CPID we have the great Bok and in projects we have a lot of other people.
Me, who me? ... I am Doctor on random affairs and other very crazy things. I had a psychiatric consultation and they immediately compulsorily admitted the doctor.
Here is my psychiatrist

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes!!! Duke thanks for your help yesterday. Of all the groups I have been in so far this has been the most helpful. Like I said I am just a small time cruncher a small pebble under everyones boulders. Now to figure out how to merge everything then I will be set (I think)

Seems Duke believes you have an issue where all of your crunching stats are divided up between 4 different accounts instead of all together, known as a split CPID. It's usually caused by using different email addresses to sign up to projects.

Oh Thanks John I will see if I can change that

How long does it take for things to change? I can only find 3 accounts and the other one is hiding somewhere.

Take one machine, attach it to all your projects, under the same email address/password. Then crunch at least 1 task with each project. Within 48 hours of that, all your stats should show under one CPID.

Usually takes about a day or 2. Might as well wait it out and check to see if that 4th is still out there :)

is folding@home still running?

Yes. Folding at home is still running. But it is not a BOINC project. It uses a different, proprietary client.
Edit: there are several BOINC projects with similar research goals.

Sorry, it is my way of saying things joking Val, I am sorry for my bad English and any misunderstood, it was a joke from the Crazy Duke and yes that was about your divided accounts as JPM said.

Welcome, Val. Glad to have you here! I had the same split CPID once. the answers like the one Zombie and JPM gave you are what helped me. Took 3 days at least for me, if I recall correctly. Happy crunching!
