Heh. Naw. When I first started working MMs, before MMs even existed, it was all about making every project 10k. Then 100k. Then 250k. it was a huge effort at the time, before I had the large farm like I do now. And when I finally got that done, I walked around all puffy-chested for a week.
No big deal with credits the way they are nowadays, but I hit 100,000,000,000 combined.

SIMAP has gone well the past few days. I hit my 5M (with a lot of help), which is my 14th, and moves me to a tie for 38th place in that category. I also hit my 50k hours for SIMAP, which means I can finally move my machines to other projects and work on other goals. (And while I'm mentioning it, SIMAP is my first and only 50k hours project, as well as my first and only 25k hours project.)
And speaking of SIMAP, Trigggl hit his 500k there, which is his 17th in that category.

Very nice Maxwell, I think Mumps is one of the best Seti USA member for very long, it is sad to me that lately we are not doing not even near our average points, it is not because of BlackOps that is a friend team for a lot of reasons, it is because we need to crunch for our team and we arent.

Damn... congrats! Fiit frustrates me - every time I turn that project on for any computer, the computer has some issue and restarts. Even if the computer has run super stable for weeks/months...

I lost 10's of thousands of hours with this project. Best thing I can tell you is reset when work units are passing 120 hours. Some may finish but almost all will not. Can't count the times I had 26 cores past 500 hours and nothing. It will be slow but resetting at 120 hours is your quickest way.

Bryan, on NF, were you seeing any tasks that run loooong...like 24 hours long. Even my normal ones were showing "Warning Memory Leak Found!" in the stderr report.

I had 4 or 5 "bounded" WU that brought up the tail end and they ran for 15 hours. I screwed up and deleted all WU except exactly what I needed to get over the hump so I had no choice but to let them run out :(

If your goal is maximize the number of 1m projects, then GPUs are the way to go for the first 10 projects or so. The rest will require CPUs only. So, what GPUs do you have currently, how many open slots, and what PSU?
SIMAP 1 Million with a TeraBok. And hopefully by the time the project is closed and all results are in, I'll still be top 1000 X_X

Z, I'm waiting patiently for my new system to be delivered and then I can get back to GPU processing. I'm not sure about the answers to those questions, as my hardware guy decided I needed a new machine... He paid for everything, including a water cooling system for the CPU... I hope I get that machine soon... :)

Also, thanks for the help Mumps! I would have missed that MM without your help for sure.
Now we just need to decide if we can get to about 7.6 Mil in time so you can end SIMAP on the top100 leaderboard... For now, that price of admission is 7,604,733 but still growing...
