You can't use this as base for a end calculation ;). The project inserted some extra WUs, which failed at the beginning. This was round about 1 Month of extra work. Here (http://stats.distributed.net/project/ogr_status.php?project_id=27) is a more precise end date calculation.

So, the question again, is this the end of YoYo participation in the OGR project then? Or will there be, maybe, an OGR-28 in our futures?

From what i remember there were plans to run OGR-28 workunits, but nothing was mentioned beyond that. Still that'd be several years worth of work. Hopefully that's still going to happen.

Yikes, I'm not taking a chance, I'm dropping mostly everything else & going for 5 Million on Org so I can get the Double Blue Star Badge, hopefully I'll make it, will resume normal Op's once I either get it or they run out of work ... :( ... Too many Badges to try & keep up with ... b-(

Hi guys,

I just had a chat with yoyo[RKN] on our team chat. He runs the yoyo server.
The word is that Cruncher OGR is expected to end somewhere between mid to end of February.
As far as OGR-28, it's unknown if that will happen at this time.

Also, the sub project Odd Weird Search is expected to end in about a month as well.

yoyo[RKN] hangs on our team chat channel most of the time if you have any questions about any of the yoyo projects.

Well I worked my way up to3'rd in the Challenge, can't catch Sphynx, he's pretty strong, at least he's on our Team :) but I'll make a run at Dr Dan anyway for 2'nd now that I can turn everythng onto YoYo, probably can't catch him with only a little over 2 day's to go in the Challenge but I I'll try. Was running another Project but I got my 100k there so that's good enough for now, can go back later & get more if I feel like it. But with 2 YoYo Sub Project's ending I'll stay with YoYo for now until I get the MM I want or they end the Sub Project ...

Thank you to the ones that are on this ground for us. Before the end of this challenge we will be in first at FB on this project, I will keep an eye on it.

That will be more than I expected at this project, the first place for 2014 would be more than great for the team.

When we pass SG it isn't going to last very long. There are 400k credits separating SG and LAF for the top spot on the project so 1 or both are going to keep hammering it. Right now it is SG making the move.

I say we will pass SG at FB today and I will make a nice post about it, we have a difference of 120K to them right now and Bryan, I think we will keep hamering it also, we have some very faithfull crunchers on this project and our power at CPU is now...

FYI, weird odd search is probably ending earlier than we thought. All the work has been issued, and only the any reissues are available periodically. That is based on my understanding of what yoyo said.

No, no way. There are 600 workunits which are looping to the user, back to the server and again to the user.

I got my OGR and added a sliver star to the Odd badge .... BUT I'm having real problems getting enough work on Odd to get hours up where I want them :(

I gave up on the hours, but I got my Silver star on Weird Odd, which was all I was looking for at this stage. I have about 20 wu that I plan to abort. Good luck trying to pick them up. They are going in 10 minutes.

About 8.5 million wu's still for grabs with around 300,000 done daily
is about 20 some days if that is how it works ???
