I have an HTC One, but it's already running BOINC. Any indications that this special program would be more efficient/effective? I've been looking but haven't seen any. Also, the article mentions DA. I don't even know why, but after weeks of cruising the forums here when I see that name I hiss like an angry housecat.

It's just another BOINC manager/client. Nothing special about it, aside from being easier for noobs to use, I think. I prefer more options, not less.
