Got a GT635 and cannot get boinc to detect it for the life of me.. Added:
<cc_config>
<options>
<use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>
</options>
</cc_config>

Restarted Boinc and still no go. Even uninstalled boinc and reinstalled and still no go.. Any other suggestions?

It might be old drivers in the registry screwing something up. I would uninstall the current NV drivers, then run Display Driver Uninstaller (it replaced Driver Sweeper, just do Google search for the download file). Definitely let it reboot you into Safe mode. Then it will find all kinds of old versions and files...let it delete them all and reboot into normal mode.
Then run CCleaner (search and download that) to delete anymore crud out of the registry.
Reboot and then install the latest NV drivers, and hopefully BOINC will pick it up. :)

Though you shouldn't have too, try plugging a monitor or dummy plug. I had to do this on one of my nv cards to get it seen.

And how long have you known about this util? You never told me! Now I'm going to cry..... =)) =)) =))

Okay all kidding aside. Thx for the heads up. Will give it a go next time I need to clean out driver junk.

Hmmm...is Display Driver Uninstaller any better than Driver Fusion?

Not sure, but Display Driver Uninstaller works really good, and gives the option for it to boot you into Safe Mode automatically and follow the prompts, so it's even good for people who wouldn't be comfortable doing that on their own, etc. Seems like they are keeping it updated, which is nice. :)

I'll have to try that Display Driver Uninstaller a try. Last time I tried uninstalling my XFX Radeon HD 5770 driver Windows 8 had a fit! First it went to that :(.... Blue screen, rebooted, went to a diagnostic screen in an attempt to "fix" the problem, worked on it for over an hour, told me it couldn't fix it and I could reboot or turn off my system. I went ahead and rebooted and it loaded fine. That will be the last time I try uninstalling that video card by way of the traditional way. It also might be a good idea to look at the nvidia directory. I often have to delete the previous files and folders manually. Does the Display Driver Uninstaller do that automatically for nvidia cards??

With NVIDIA Drivers all I've ever done is Select Custom Install & Do a Clean Install & I've never had any problems with Driver install's from NVIDIA ...
