On 28 March 2014 19:57:24 UTC, PrimeGrid’s Mega Prime Search, through PRPNet, found the Mega Prime: 87*2^3496188+1 (http://primes.utm.edu/primes/page.php?id=117520)The prime is 1,052,460 digits long and enters Chris Caldwell's The Largest Known Primes Database (http://primes.utm.edu/primes) ranked 70th overall.The discovery was made by Gary Craig (Gary Craig (http://www.primegrid.com/show_user.php?userid=52890)) of the United States using an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz with 4GB RAM running Linux. This computer took just over 1 hour 11 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR.
