My left eye is completed and my right eye is scheduled for the 14th, and I can already tell that there is a tremendous difference! I will soon be glasses free except for reading! :-B

Congrats Justgeo1! When my wife had her eyes done, she said it was like going from driving around in a car in a rainstorm with no windshield wipers, to a nice sunny day.

My mom had hers done last year and went from 20/200 and 20/400 to 20/20 in both eyes.

Thanks, friends! I hope everything works as well as I've heard! I will be free of glasses for the first time in nearly 60 years... It will be strange to look at the world without a frame around the image... :)

Ok, I'm now completely free of glasses unless I need 'reading' glasses. I'm doing ok after my second surgery this morning... I see the doctor for a followup tomorrow and that should be it for a while. :)

Congratulations. Now that you don't need regular glasses and only cheaters, and since it is summer, I can recommend a pair of Polarized sunglasses with built-in bifocals: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/bluewater-polarized-bifocal-sunglasses-full-frame.aspx?a=1537670 I use them for fishing all the time.

Thank you, Slicker! I have some good sunglasses and will probably not to much reading etc, out there.. I will look into these to see what they can do for me! :)
