That is going to be tricky, as far as your BOINC account is concerned.

You need one of the following:

A) The email address and password associated with your BOINC account

or

B) Weak account key. But this can only be found in the folder where BOINC was installed on that HDD.

If you still have access to the email account used for BOINC projects (hopefully, you used the same email for all the projects you crunched), you can reset your password by visiting the website of each project you crunched, click the user account (or returning user) link then click the "forgot password?" link. Then just enter email address and click the "OK" button. The project will send you an email with instructions on resetting your password.

If you don't have any the the above info then your out of luck. There is no other way that I am aware of to retrieve your BOINC account.

My computer's HD died and now I want to reinstall the apps to help, but can't remember where I got them. Can someone give me the URL? I was a "member", but never interacted, as I know little to nothing about what my computer is helping with. I'd like to use the same user name and email, but don't remember what I used...can someone work with me to get the right name and email?

If you remember a name you used on a particular project, it might be the same as here. Let us know what your handle was and one of us can pm you on a project level and it might give you a hint. Or you can just re register here once you figure out your project handle. Your name here doesn't matter as much as your crunching name on the projects
