I wrote a bash script this afternoon to check my score every 5 minutes and suspend a project when it gets to the magic number. It worked for Sudoku while I was out this evening. Of course, it's only useful for projects that validate immediately.

Yeah - those "pending" projects will screw with you. As will projects with huge WUs. I missed my MegaBok on Aqua because 1 WU took me from below 1M to over 1.010M.
